The Aero Precision Ultralight SPR Scope Mount is an excellent choice for the shooter who needs additional eye relief on his SPR rifle and doesn’t want to compromise security by moving his mount forward off of the receiver rail on his firearm. The rear ring of this scope mount has been moved forward two inches to allow for improved eye relief with a variety of quality long range optics.

Conventional style mounts, with both rings set directly above the mount rail, force the shooter to choose between sacrificing stability by crossing onto the top rail of the rifle’s handguard with the mount or dealing with the challenges of too-short eye relief. This SPR scope mount is designed specifically for use with AR type upper receivers that feature Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny mounting rails, but it may be used on any firearm you choose that includes a Picatinny mounting rail.

This SPR Scope Mount Is Recoil Proof

Mounting your scope is easy. Attach the mount base to your rail and secure with three locking rail lugs. The mount will be virtually recoil proof, secured by Aero’s multi-point cross slot keyway. The Aero Precision Ultralight SPR Scope Mount features a unique ring system that slides together on specially engineered notches at the top. Once in place, the ring sections act as levers on their notch joints until you have tightened the ring. This allows you to tighten the rings with less walk in the scope.

Aero Precision’s scope mounts are manufactured from 6061 aluminum on state of the art machining centers by craftsmen in Tacoma, Washington.

These mounts are nothing special but I've used them on four or five builds, they mount the glass securely and the few times I've used alignment gauges (wheeler) they're within expected tolerances. You're buying a focus: value, gets the job done, takes you to the bar;)

Great quality and will hold a large objective scope with no problem.Running a 56mm and plenty of clearance.Very secure on weapon and nice tool for mounting included.

After having used many other quality mounts I'm very pleased with the Aero Ultralight mounts. Very solid and extremely lightweight mounts!
