You'll need a good sling mount if you want to transition between carrying and shooting positions quickly and comfortably. Make it easy with the Magpul Quick Detach MOE Sling Attachment (MSA-QD)!
This accessory is designed to fit Magpul's MOE series of handguards. You can install it on either the right or left side of the MOE handguard. It provides a QD socket with an anti-rotation mechanism to keep your sling oriented just how you prefer it. It is almost unnoticeable when installed, and it certainly doesn't add any annoying snag points to your AR15.
This mount simply provides a sturdy QD socket without adding unnecessary weight or protrusions. The design integrates seamlessly with your Magpul handguard. Two screws hold it firmly in place and prevent rattling and free play. Incredible resilience in the face of corrosive elements is provided by the tough melonite coating. The steel is also case hardened for additional durability.
Magpul's No joke!

Good fit easy installation. One tip, the hole saw bit use a little oil around the bit to reduce any heat or damage to the part and don't gorilla handle the drilling..It's a great part.

This works great with my sling. You have to drill a hole with a hole saw that is provided. The directions say to attach first then drill hole. I advise to find out where hole goes, drill hole, then attach it because if you dont, you will scratch some of the coating off of the sling attachment with the hole saw. Its kinda hard to keep drill steady this way though
