When you build your own AR type rifle there are a lot of things you can do to customize your rifle beyond Mil-Spec. You may want to include a specialized 45° or 90° marked and modified AR lower receiver in your build and that means you’re going to need a safety selector that will work properly with your chosen lower. If you’re a lefty or just simply want an Ambi Safety option for your current build, you can’t go wrong with the Rainer Arms Selector Switch – Standard / Short.

The Rainier Arms Selector Switch – Standard/Short is a safety selector switch with a standard length lever plate on one side and a shorter plate on the other. The plates are easily removed and interchangeable for ambidextrous set-up. Simply use the included T10 Torx L-Key to remove the Torx screws that hold the levers in place on the safety axis bar and reinstall them as desired. Wing Tactical offers this Ambi Safety Selector in black to match your Mil-Spec blacks flawlessly and contrast beautifully when installed against lighter finished rifles.

Choose the Rainier Arms Ambi Safety Selector to complete your custom Ambidextrous AR build and you’ll know you have a quality safety switch that won’t let you down.

Please note that this safety selector is only for use in modified lower receivers and will not function in standard AR receivers that do not feature a relief cut for the safety.

When you purchase this safety selector you can rest assured that you’ll receive a quality component precision machined by American craftsmen in Rainer, Washington. The crew at Rainer Arms only manufactures products that they would use themselves. Their extensive use of input from law enforcement and military personnel, as well as everyday firearms enthusiasts, assures that the products they create fill a real need and withstand real world use.
