As the owner of an AR-10, you understand the value of parts that match the quality of your rifle. Poorly-made or faulty parts can cause a catastrophic failure in intense, real-world situations when the operational efficiency of your rifle can mean the difference between life and death. In less intense situations, such as participation in a competition or a quiet weekend of “plinking,” malfunctioning parts can be an unnecessary annoyance.
The charging handle of an AR-10 is responsible for placing the bolt and the hammer in the ready position for the initial shot when loading the rifle. It is also responsible for clearing blockages. Because charging handles are subjected to a significant amount of stress during active operation of the AR-10, it’s important that they be of high-quality material that will not fail under the strain.
Most of the so-called ambidextrous charging handles available today are simply right-handed models with a lever that extends to the right side. The Raptor charging handle by Radian Weapons (formerly AXTS Weapons System) offers complete functionality on either side with twin latches. The heavy-duty serrations of the latches on this ambi charging handle will give you a non-slip grip when operating your charging handle.
The charging handle and latches are machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum and treated with a Mil-Spec anodizing process. The durable finish ensures that the handle will pull smooth as glass every time.
This a Radian AR-10 Raptor Charging Handle, if you need a AR-15 model, please look at the Raidian Raptor AR-15 Ambidextrous Charging Handle.

There are a lot of available ambidextrous charging handles out there, like BCM, that are great, but I keep returning to AXTS for AR-10s and the shorter version for AR-15s. Easy to operate even when a scope is mounted toward the rear.
