If you’re looking for a superior muzzle device for a 7.62mm, 300AAC Blackout, or .308 Winchester build, the VG6 Precision Gamma 762 may just be what the doctor ordered. Veteran armorers will recognize the VG6 Gamma as a compensator/muzzle brake combination that brought a great number of AR-15 builds under complete control for the first time. The Gamma 762 will do the same for this larger caliber crowd.
The VG6 Gamma 762 is designed just like its smaller brother the Gamma 556. With the use of high-tech engineering techniques like Computational Fluid Dynamics and Computer Aided Engineering, the guys at VG6 have produced a muzzle device that exiles recoil to the past and almost eliminates muzzle rise. You can shoot with confidence. It won’t take long for you to forget to worry about recoil and just keep your focus on the target when you shoot. How long will it take you to reacquire the target for a follow-up shot? When the muzzle stays flat, you’ll never lose sight of your target and second and even third shots will come faster and more accurately than they ever have before.
The VG6 Precision Gamma is machined from 17-4ph® Heat Treated Steel. It’s threaded to 5/8” x 24 and finished in a fine, satiny BLACKNITRIDE coating that blends well with those Mil-Spec blacks. VG6 packages the Gamma 762 ready to mount to your 300 Blackout, 7.62mm, or .308 Winchester build, complete with a crush washer so you don’t have to remember to order one separately. VG6 wants you to get from the mailbox to the bench and back to the range as quickly as possible. You’ve gotta get out and shoot if you wanna show off. You don’t have to tell them your secret if you don’t want to. The Gamma isn’t the kind of device that draws attention to itself, it lets the shooter shine.

Well made quality product, works as intended
Dramatic recoil and muzzle rise reduction on a 12 lb 308 bolt action rifle. Muzzle rise is now essentially zero and recoil is cut pretty much in half. Spotting one's own shots is ridiculously easy now, even at short distances where bullet time of flight is short. I see no reason to pay $100++ to follow the PRS me-too crowd. The brake needed 180 degrees of rotation with the included crush washer to time correctly. Scary if this is the first time you install a muzzle device, but in reality it is no big deal. That's why crush washers "crush".
Was searching for a good muzzle brake for my sig 716 patrol rifle to reduce recoil and came across this one in my search. With a quick search I found wing tactical had the lowest price by far. Shipping was ultra fast and was packaged well. This product is top notch and wing tactical is a top and perfoemces better then expected all from a notch company that I will always do business with.
