In most AR-15s, even high-end models, there is usually a slight wobble between the upper and lower receiver. This movement can be quite annoying and can affect your rifle's accuracy as well.

One of the simplest and easiest ways to ensure that your upper and lower receiver close perfectly and don't have any wobble or movement is to install an ERGO AR-15 Wedge. This small rubber wedge can be installed behind the rear takedown pin of your lower receiver. When you close the receivers after installing the ERGO AR-15 Wedge, it applies pressure and makes them fit perfectly with no movement.

The ERGO AR-15 Wedge is made from rubber, and it is made with a bit of excel material on the bottom, which needs to be trimmed to perfectly fit your rifle. Try installing the wedge as it is first, and if the receivers are not closing, trim a little bit of material off the bottom of the wedge until it fits perfectly.
