Strike Switch

Details:

As a firearms enthusiast, you know that sometimes the devil really is in the details. Little things like an inconvenient or difficult to operate safety switch can make an otherwise awesome rifle a pain in the neck to shoot. Something as seemingly small as an AR-15 ambi safety can be the difference between a great build and the rifle you only reach for when you’re working on your favorite.

The craftsmen of Strike Industries have created their business around improving the little things that are the difference between a fully customized rifle and one that's just a modified version of someone else’s plan. Their answer to the problems frequently encountered with safety selector switches is the Strike Switch. The Strike Switch is an ambidextrous safety selector designed to be used without changing your grip from firing position whether you are right or left handed.

Strike's innovative AR-15 ambi safety serves as a comfortable to use index point and rest for your thumb in a natural shooting position. The toggle operation of this ambidextrous safety selector makes the Strike Switch the easiest to use, most intuitive ambidextrous safety selector available to the AR-15 builder/consumer.

In the name of full customization, Strike’s ambidextrous safety selector even allows for adjustment in operation. Choose either a 60 or 90-degree throw depending on your personal preferences. Of course, while looks aren’t everything, attention to finish isn’t something Strike Industries overlooks. You can order your Strike Switch ambidextrous safety selector in basic black or grey to blend in with the rest of your components. If you want to get noticed, choose blue or red to add a little extra pop to your next build.

  1. Pretty awesome 4 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Apr 2017

Fits with no issues on my m&p15.
Quick and easy install. YouTube is a godsent.

You can only install this one way through as the other way doesn't allow you to flip it past the trigger pins.

  2. Strike Industries ambidextrous win! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Mar 2017

Super easy to install, this safety selector is super slick! I appreciated the lever design and being able to thumb the safety as well as use the index finger on the opposite side if needed. Available in multiple colors, it set off my new build with that added custom touch of function and form. Will be adding to my next pistol build.

  3. Eye catching 5 Star Review

Posted by on 11th Mar 2017

Once again here's a part that my rifle did not need. It's a part that I needed for my rifle. I like the idea of having a choice in how my rifle looks. I build all my rifles from the ground up so a custom look that matches my style and having quality parts that look great and is still functional are important to me.

    custom upgrade.

  5. Love the look, fit, and feel 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Jan 2017

This is your model if you want ambidextrous controls and a good look/feel. Using it on my 2A Armament Xanthos build. Have not completed it yet, so I cannot speak to durability, but I lubed it to make sure I didn't prematurely wear anything.

  6. A must for a featureless build 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Oct 2016

The switch is smaller than it appears online. Fit and finish are excellent. Works as intended.

There are no instructions in or on the box. had to go to SI website and download pdf . It's rocket science, but as a matter of principal I always look at instructions when working with a new product.

This is a must have if your using a kydex wrapped pistol grip to make a featureless firearm. Actually gives you a little leverage and more control on the back of the gun.

  7. Could have been more versatile 3 Star Review

Nice finish and concept. Wish the end user could choose to have long arm facing rearward. Wife has difficulty throwing lever with her thumb. Installed in Aero Precision lower with Velocity 4 lb trigger.

  8. Strike Switch. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Sep 2016

Installed it on my Aero Precision AR-10 6.5 Creedmoor and have it set on the 60 degree position. I have several BAD and Seekins safeties, this one is solid and a nice addition to my gun. I like it, a lot.

  9. need an ambidextrous safety 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Sep 2016

    I am a left-hand shooter and my wife is a right-hand shooter.

I needed and ambi safety that actually is comfortable to use most of the ones I find are more expensive and the right side is always small.

I am also building a redline accented rifle.

    I LOVE this safety!

  10. really like the blue 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Sep 2016

This switch not only looks really cool on my AR, it works great too. The action is smooth and the feel is good too. I have been looking for a selector switch in blue for a while. For some reason you can find all the other colors pretty easy, but not blue. Some companies that used to make blue discontinued the color. So finding a blue switch that looks great and works too was a bonus.
