This Daniel Defense complete upper receiver has a 16-inch Cold Hammer Forged barrel made from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium steel. This CHF barrel outperforms stainless steel counterparts with improved heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and exceptional durability. Additionally, the barrel is threaded with a standard 1/2"-28 thread pitch and comes equipped with a Daniel Defense Flash Suppressor.

This upper comes with the Daniel Defense Rail Interface System RIS III aluminum handguard. This free-floating aluminum handguard features M-LOK slots at seven different positions along its length and has an uninterrupted upper Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny Rail. The Daniel Defense A4 Upper Receiver has a Mil-Spec profile with M4 feed ramps for improved reliability.
