This upper assembly comes with a 6.5-inch barrel made from 4140 chrome-moly steel and protected by a salt bath nitride finish. It offers dependable durability and corrosion resistance for regular use. The threaded muzzle comes equipped with a CMMG 9mm ZEROED Linear Compensator, which helps decrease felt recoil and mitigate muzzle rise for a smoother shooting experience.
Precision Engineering at Its Best
The barrel is covered by a 5.5-inch CMMG proprietary aluminum handguard with M-LOK slots and a full-length Picatinny rail for compatible accessories. The receiver uses CMMG’s Compact Action-Direct Impingement System, which houses the recoil spring assembly inside the receiver and eliminates the need for a traditional buffer tube.
