This upper assembly comes with an 8-inch Salt-Bath Nitrided 4140 Chrome-Moly Steel barrel. CMV steel barrels are more durable and better at dissipating heat than standard steel barrels. The CMMG Banshee 9mm Mk4 Upper 8” barrel comes with a 1:10 twist rifling profile, which allows for excellent performance with a wide range of 9mm bullet weights and profiles.
Moreover, this barrel is equipped with a CMMG 9mm ZEROED Linear Compensator, significantly decreasing perceived recoil and muzzle flip.
Handguard and Design
This CMMG Banshee upper assembly features a 7-inch CMMG EML7 Handguard. This slim-profile handguard is made from 6061-T6 Aluminum and has M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom, with a full-length Picatinny rail on top. That gives you space for sights, accessories, and the hand placement you prefer on a compact PCC build.
