The Griffin Armament taper mount 5.56 tactical compensator is a taper mount version of their popular low concussion hybrid comp. The taper mount compensator provides a solid and secure suppressor interface for RECCE, EXPLORE, Paladin, and Sportsman model silencers.

Innovative Design and Performance

The innovative hybrid design of the Griffin Armament compensator allows for high performance in a compact package. Precisely calibrated ports and the large internal expansion chamber work together to both reduce concussive force and minimize muzzle movement. In addition, the flash hider front cap significantly reduces perceived muzzle flash. These features all work together to keep you on target during rapid-fire practice.

High-Quality Material

This taper-mount 5.56 tactical compensator is made from 17-4 PH stainless steel to stand up to hard use and is given a lustrous hard melonite finish for added durability. The precision TIG welded assembly has strategically engineered baffles designed to extend the life of a suppressor. The compensator has a low profile with an overall length of only 2.2 inches and an outside diameter of just 1.1 inches and weighs in at a scant 3 ounces.
