This detent with spring tightened up my safety selector which was kind of loose and worrisome. It is worth every penny and of very good quality
Certainly, one of the most used components on your AR-15 would be the safety selector. When you consider the number of times that little lever travels from fire to safe and back again, the potential for wear is obvious. Your reasons for making an upgrade can range from simply your preference, all the way to heading off a potential problem. When you upgrade to an Armaspec safety selector detent you take another step to avoid a possible issue on down the road.
Armaspec only uses high-quality stainless steel for its AR15 safety detent and selector detent spring. The two components live and work together, and the wise move is to replace them both at the same time. Unfortunately, some companies try to get by with using a lower quality material for these mission-critical parts. Therefore, premature wear and even breakage may occur, resulting in the failure of the safety selector. You should always be able to rely on something as important as your safety, you can rely on Armaspec to deliver quality in every part they make.
Granted, it’s easy to forget all about that selector detent spring until it fails. Over time, just as your AR15 safety detent can wear, the selector detent spring can wear as well. If that little spring loses just a bit too much resilience you wind up without a positive lock when you try to move the selector into the desired position. Armaspec provides quality components for your AR-15 at a competitive price, it’s always a smart move to play it safe and stick with quality.
