The Threaded Option

A threaded barrel for Glock 19 pistols is a simple switch to make. The G19 threaded barrel allows a compensator to be installed. A compensator on a Glock, which already has a low bore access, reduces muzzle flip to a point where it is negligible. In states that allow them, the G19 threaded barrel can be used to install a suppressor. Sound reduction in firearms not only reduces noise complaints but also reduces hearing loss.
