First impressions, it really is a fine piece of craftsmanship from Strike Industries as always with their product. Installation is easily done within a few minutes. The trigger shoe does what it is suppose to do by breaking at a different angle. However, this trigger shoe alone will not change any pre-travel or over-travel. Only in which the feel of the trigger breaking at a different angle when the gun fires is different.
Two minor cons to make note, it could just be this one piece in particular. The first is the safety tab, when the safety tab is pressed it's gives off a very gritty grinding sound (probably needs more breaking in time). Secondly, it was a fairly tight fit when installing the slide release lever next to it, a simple fix is to light sand the slide lever where the trigger pin goes through with 3M Auto sand paper of 800 grit or higher. Fits perfectly after that.
Final thoughts, if you're looking for something different but don't want to spend a lot of money to get an after market trigger, this is it. The design of the trigger changes the feel in which the angle of the trigger decides to go bang. Most aftermarket triggers uses OEM bars as well but really cleans up the trigger bar and has their trigger shoes made to reduce pre-travel. If you're looking for something that reduces the pre-travel and over-travel, this is not for you, but for those that are looking to make that trigger upgrade, have it unique and not break the bank, you can't go wrong with this.
