- Made from titanium and 316 stainless steel
- reduces 40% in weight over standard Mil-Spec forward assists.
Everyone who must carry a rifle over long distances knows that ounces equal pounds, and pounds equal pain. That's why it's important to reduce weight anywhere possible on your AR-15, no matter how insignificant it may seem.
The Ti-Fang Titanium Forward Assist from Northtech Defense is one great way to take some weight off of your weapon without sacrificing strength. This titanium forward assist is joined to a 316 stainless steel bolt pusher for maximum durability and minimum weight. The smooth titanium will stand out and give your rifle a unique appearance.
If you carry your AR-15 on duty, on military maneuvers, or just on hunting trips, take off some unnecessary weight with the Ti-Fang Titanium Forward Assist.
Very Nice Titanium Piece!

I am building a prototype Ultra-Light Rifle and I found 2 Forward Assist units in Ti that I liked and was leaning towards... I settled on this piece from NorthTech Defense and really pleased for its fit, finish and design appearance.

I replaced the standard mil-spec forward assist on my AR with this Northtech Defense Ti-FANG. The Ti-Fang does feel lighter than my old forward assist. Installation was quick and easy, any one with basic gunsmith knowledge can install this in a heart beat. (or go watch youtube on how to change forward assist on AR15) It fits very good on my AR.
