Details:
The MIMTAC Drastic Trigger is a self-contained drop-in trigger with a factory-set 3.5 lb pull. It's a single-stage design, so there's no take-up stage to work through before the break.
MIMTAC designed it with no creep and reduced overtravel, followed by a short, responsive reset. The pull stays straightforward: pressure builds, the trigger breaks, and there's very little extra movement afterward.
Flat Or Curved Trigger
The MIMTAC Drastic Trigger is available with either a flat or curved trigger shoe. Both versions use the same 3.5 lb single-stage system, so the choice comes down to which shape feels better under your finger.
Go curved if you prefer a more traditional AR trigger profile. Choose flat if you like a straighter trigger face and a different point of contact.
Drop-In Cassette Construction
Everything is housed inside a 7075 aluminum housing, making the Drastic trigger a complete drop-in assembly rather than a collection of individual fire-control parts.
Inside are heat-treated steel components, while aerospace-grade aluminum is used throughout the housing. The trigger also receives a black chrome surface finish.
Anti-Walk Pins Are Included
A set of anti-walk pins comes with the trigger, so they're already part of the package rather than something you'll need to purchase separately.
The Drastic trigger is designed for most Mil-Spec AR-15 and AR-10 variant rifles. As with any cassette-style trigger, compatibility should be checked if the lower uses non-standard dimensions or proprietary fire-control components.
