Details:
The MIMTAC Valkyrie AR Performance Trigger has a factory-set 3.0 lb pull, no creep, and a clean single-stage break. There isn't much movement to work through. Apply pressure, hit the break, and the trigger moves into a very short reset.
It's a noticeable change from the longer, heavier pull of a standard Mil-Spec trigger and is aimed squarely at performance and competition-oriented AR builds.
Short Reset with Positive Feedback
The MIMTAC Valkyrie trigger's reset is exceptionally short, but MIMTAC didn't remove the tactile feedback in the process. There's a distinct reset point, so you can feel when the trigger is ready again without letting it travel unnecessarily far forward.
That combination of a 3 lb break and short reset is a big part of the Valkyrie's character.
Light Pull, Strong Hammer Strike
The light trigger pull doesn't mean MIMTAC went light on hammer force. The Valkyrie drop-in trigger uses an upgraded hammer and spring configuration designed to deliver a substantial primer strike.
MIMTAC specifically designed the system with harder primers and steel-case ammunition in mind, where weak hammer strikes can become an issue.
Under-Housing Springs Keep the Housing Seated
Springs positioned underneath the trigger housing maintain tension against the housing once it's installed. They help keep the unit seated and aligned in the lower rather than allowing unnecessary movement between the housing and receiver.
It's a simple addition with a practical purpose: keep the trigger unit stable.
The Trigger Blade Has a Purpose
The Valkyrie's unusual trigger blade isn't shaped that way just for appearance. Its profile gives the finger a defined contact area, helping you settle into the same position on the trigger from one pull to the next.
It certainly gives the Valkyrie its own look, but the geometry is functional first.
For shooters looking beyond a basic AR trigger, the Valkyrie brings together a light 3 lb pull, strong hammer strike, very short tactile reset, and a stabilized housing design in one performance-focused trigger.
