DETAILS:
The SB Tactical SBA6 Pistol Stabilizing Brace was developed with Die Free Co. and takes the familiar adjustable A-Series design in a noticeably slimmer direction. At approximately 1.6 inches across at its widest point, it has a narrower profile than the SBA3, SBA4, and SBA5.
It also uses a full rubber arm cuff, giving the SBA6 brace its own shape and feel rather than simply shrinking one of the earlier designs.
Five Positions on A Mil-Spec Carbine Tube
The SBA6 fits firearms that accept a standard Mil-Spec carbine receiver extension and provides five adjustment positions.
There's no special proprietary tube required. If the platform is designed around a compatible Mil-Spec carbine extension, the SBA6 brace can be used across a variety of AR-pattern and other compatible configurations. The receiver extension itself is not included.
Full Rubber Cuff and Adjustable Strap
The rear section is formed as a flexible rubber cuff and comes with an adjustable 1-inch nylon strap. Together, they provide the stabilization interface that defines the SBA6 as a pistol brace.
Despite the full cuff, SB Tactical kept the overall package compact. The brace measures approximately 6.5 inches long and weighs about 8.5 ounces.
QD Sling Mount on Either Side
An ambidextrous QD sling socket is built directly into the SBA6. The attachment point can be accessed from either side, so sling placement isn't dictated by whether the shooter is right- or left-handed.
There are no separate QD pieces to add to the brace.
Fitment And Colors
The SBA6 brace can be used on AR-15, AR-9, other AR-pattern firearms, and compatible platforms that accept a mil-spec carbine receiver extension. Because receiver extensions can vary slightly between manufacturers, individual fit may vary.
It's available in Black, Flat Dark Earth, and OD Green and is made in the USA.
The SBA6 is essentially the leaner member of the A-Series family: five-position adjustment, a full rubber cuff, built-in QD mounting, and a much narrower overall profile.
