A Complete Upper Assembly Designed for Long-Range Shooting
This Aero Precision 6.5 Creedmoor Complete Upper with a 24-inch barrel is specifically designed for long-range shooting. Its barrel is constructed from 416R Stainless Steel, and it is fluted to decrease its overall weight. The rifling in the barrel is 1:8, making it ideal for stabilizing the 6.5 Creedmoor projectile in the 24-inch barrel. Moreover, it comes equipped with an A2-style flash hider that can be replaced with any other muzzle device that uses the 5/8"-24 thread pitch.
An Upper Assembly That Includes an M-LOK Handguard
The Aero Precision 6.5 Creedmoor Fluted Stainless Steel M5 Complete Upper Assembly, featuring a 24-inch barrel, also includes a modern, slim-profile M-LOK handguard. This 15-inch ATLAS handguard has M-LOK slots on both sides and the bottom, along with a Picatinny rail on top for mounting front iron sights. The gas system boasts a low profile to ensure compatibility with the slim-profile handguard, and it utilizes a rifle-length gas tube to operate optimally with the long 24-inch barrel.
The DPMS High Profile receiver itself is made from 7075-T6 aluminum and features a port door and forward assist. It also has a class 2 hardcoat anodized finish for durability and M4 feed ramps for improved reliability.
