Details:

6.5 Creedmoor is a very capable caliber for hunting, personal defense, and precision shooting at long distances. If you want to build a precision shooting rifle, then the M5 complete upper assembly from Aero Precision Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor is an excellent option.

This upper assembly is available in multiple configurations. This one has a 22-inch fluted barrel made from 416R stainless steel. The fluted barrel is lighter than other 22-inch barrels and is better at heat dissipation because of its larger surface area. This barrel is threaded with a 5/8"-24 thread pitch and comes pre-equipped with an A2-style flash hider.

This precision barrel is complemented by a rifle-length, low-profile gas system, which works great with the 6.5 Creedmoor caliber. It is covered by the ATLAS M-LOK Handguard from Aero precision. This 15-inch handguard is made from aluminum and has a lightweight design, with M-LOK slots on both sides and the bottom. The top of the handguard has sections of Picatinny, which can be used to mount iron sights.

The Aero Precision M5 Upper receiver is made from aluminum and has a DPMS High Profile design. Like most AR receivers, the M5 also has a forward assist and a port door, and it features M4 feed ramps for better reliability. This upper assembly is available in Hard Coat Anodized Finish and a Flat Dark Earth Finish.
