Details:

Innovative Design

The Strike Industries' PolyFlex 5.56 Dust Cover seals more securely than other dust covers made possible with a unique internal lip featured in their patent-pending "True Seal" design.

Be Prepared or Complete your Dream Build

Keeping a Strike Industries' PolyFlex 5.56 Dust Cover in your shooting bag helps you be more prepared to operate your AR-15 in the event that your dust cover needs to be replaced unexpectedly. This part is easy to install at home, at the shooting range, or in the field.

This dust cover is also an excellent choice for completing your dream AR-15 build with a quality part that will last.

Made to Last

While many dust covers are traditionally made from stamped steel, Strike Industries recognized that this material rusts. As such, they chose to make their PolyFlex 5.56 Dust Cover of polymer, which is durable but does not rust. Polymer is also lightweight, helping keep your weapon's weight as minimal as possible.

Easy to Install

This dust cover is constructed of just one piece, which is pushed into place to install. No tools or gunsmith required; this part can easily be installed at home within minutes of its arrival.

I bought one of these in pursuit of something easy to install, but the plastic side that flexes for installation, to hold it in place, was too weak. The cover would just pop out of place and fall off the gun with simply the tension of the dust cover spring. I do NOT suggest that anyone use this part. I have been building one custom AR per week for some time, and so I am not a new builder.
