Accurate and Low Recoil
The rifle built with this Aero 12.5” upper will be highly accurate for a 5.56 caliber build. The low recoil of the round itself, combined with a carbine-length gas tube system and low-profile gas block, gives you a snappier cycle and higher bolt velocity. The M4 feed ramps help the upper chamber rounds reliably, keeping up with the carbine system's faster cyclic rate and reducing the chances of a misfire.
The barrel is high-pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected, meaning it's been checked for fractures, cracks, or other imperfections after firing a proof round loaded well above a standard 5.56 pressure. It's also cut from CMV steel, which withstands heat and corrosion better than mild steel, so the barrel lasts longer. The QPQ treatment, applied inside and out, adds another layer of wear resistance.
Atlas Handguard
The Atlas M-LOK handguard is slim and lightweight, so barrel harmonics have less of a chance to knock your sights off zero. The relief cuts keep it light and easy to maneuver, and it indexes tightly with the receiver with no rotation.
