At some point, you almost want to give up and decide that gas block is just a gas block. Fortunately, you stumble upon an Odin Works gas block and realize there is a difference. You have to actually hold an Odin Works low profile gas block in your hand to appreciate its quality. The opening for the gas tube is beveled to let that sometimes stubborn gas tube slide in easily. The hole for the roll pin has a very slight bevel as well. Additionally, the flat surfaces make installing the roll pin a breeze. The ID of the Odin Works gas block is perfectly machined so you won't mar your barrel sliding it in place. Take note of the profile of this low pro gas block. Its sides are flat, that's a nice touch when it comes time to index your new low pro gas block with your barrel nut.
If you're not running a free floating rail system on your AR you should really consider doing so. When you finally do, you're going to have a lo profile gas block to fit underneath that new rail. The best bet is the Odin Works low profile gas block. It's built to be better. The small size prevents it from interfering with your rail system while still performing its function. It is also a good choice if you're trying to reduce the overall weight of your weapon.
This Odin Works lo profile gas block incorporates two set screws to hold it in place where many lesser quality products only have one. Then there's the rich, deep, Black Nitride finish which matches your nitride barrel or sets off a stainless barrel. Expand your forend options by installing the Odin Works Low Profile Gas Block on your AR15!
