Sometimes little things mean a lot when you’re completing a new rifle build. Some of the smallest improvements can change your rifle from “just another AR” to “my pride and joy”. You want everything right when you build your next AR-15 and one of those small details that will make a big difference is the end plate you choose. Phase 5 offers a superior component in its Sloped Quick Disconnect End Plate.

Phase 5 has maintained extreme compatibility to the AR-15/M4 family of weapons with their QD end plate this component. It fulfills all of the requirements of the original Mil-Spec end plates and goes on to make them obsolete.

The Phase 5 QD End Plate is machined from 7075-T6 Billet Aluminum. It’s just about 80% stronger than a 6061-T6 component and still lighter than a standard steel end plate. The Phase 5 QD plate mount is offset at a 30-degree angle from the weapon’s lower so that an attached swivel has a 360-degree motion and can be used in a fully ambidextrous manner.

You don’t need anything special to use the Phase 5 QD End Plate. It mounts with a standard AR-15/ M4 lower extension castle nut, so you don’t need any special parts or tools to equip it. The Quick Detach mount will accept any push-button QD sling or mount swivel you choose. With a 200-pound pull rating, the chances of accidental breakage are slim to none.

Phase 5 creates components for one reason, the solve problems in a way that helps those who protect and defend us on a daily basis. You know when you purchase a Phase 5 part that it is built to the standards of modern warriors. That’s quality you can rely on.
