The Primary Weapons Systems Ratchet Lock Castle Nut and End Plate Set allows the armorer to attach either commercial type or Mil-Spec Buffer Tubes to your weapon system without the pain-in-the-neck of staking. Yes, it’s secure, and guess what PWS created this option considering the possibility that you might want or need to change a buffer tube before your weapon deadline. Easy to install. Everything is snug and solid. Makes this part of my build much easier. Looks great and performs perfect. Will be buying more for my other builds.

I have assembled several AR-15 rifles using the Primary Weapons Ratchet Lock Castle Nut and End Plate. In my opinion, they are the best on the market. I will purchase these items again.

I bought one of these a few years ago for some up and coming builds. For one reason or another I never git used and just sat in my spare parts box until last night. I started a modern tacticool AR build and decided to use it instead of the regular BCM QD mount, plate and castle nut. It went on extremely easy and both works as advertised as well as looks great too. I would recommend one to anyone that wants it right and tight now without any special knowledge of staking or the extra work. I'm very pleased with the purchase and would use one again on this type of build.
