Details:

When you want a muzzle brake with cutting edge design with a little less up front than the FATman, Phase 5 comes to the rescue with the Phase 5 little boy Hex Brake. Using the same gas management design and hexagonal styling as the FATman brake the Phase 5 LittleBOY Hex Brake delivers similar performance in a shorter, lighter package that still manages to look mean enough to bite.

The Phase 5 little boy does an exceptional job of managing the felt impulse of recoil perceived by the shooter on firing with a single FAT baffle section. Just like the FATman, the littleBOY is designed to fit over your barrel. Once mounted the brake’s chamber wall sits exceptionally close to your barrel’s crown. The Phase 5 LittleBoy Hex Brake won’t diminish the accuracy you expect from your match barrel and keeps kick from detracting from the shooter’s control. You’ll never lose sight of the target, each shot is dead on without the distraction of excessive recoil forces.

Just like its larger counterpart, the Phase 5 littleBOY Hex brake sets back into your hand guard, giving your rifle a sleek on-piece silhouette. The littleBOY carries the same aggressive look as the FATman but blends in well with its Mil-Spec black parkerized finish. The littleBOY for 5.56 and .223 is just 2.5-inches long and weighs only 5.3-ounces saving the competition shooter a full inch in length and over half an ounce in weight. Phase 5 furnishes a crush washer with their brakes so can easily install the littleBOY when you take it out of the box. Timing of the hexagonal littleBOY is simplified by the flat-planed styling that allows the armorer to use a level to find true 12 o’clock.
