If you are into long-range shooting or hunting, then what you need is a simple, straight stock for your AR-15. Forget all this foldable, collapsible nonsense with storage compartments. I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody has a rifle stock with Bluetooth and internet access. Nope, you need an AR-15 fixed stock. That doesn’t mean you have to go old-school A-2 plastic.
Feels Like A Winner
Hard plastic rifle stocks are cold in the winter, and they're slippery when you sweat in the heat. A Hogue overmolded AR fixed stock is the answer to both of these problems. The overmolded top of this Hogue AR-15 fixed stock gives you a solid cheek weld regardless of the conditions. Another issue when using a fixed stock is shouldering your weapon while wearing loose clothing or tactical gear. The Hogue overmolded AR fixed stock wears a combination polymer/rubber pad on its rear. This combo pad slides over your gear and then plants solid into your shoulder.
At first glance, you see the smooth, skeletonized lines of the Hogue AR-15 fixed stock. Next, you find that it has multiple points for you to attach a sling for your carry preference. You have much less that can go wrong here than with a collapsible stock. The Hogue overmolded fixed stock is lighter, lower-priced, and much stronger than its collapsible cousins. Plus, what if you do get into the middle of a scrap and run out of ammo? With a Hogue fixed stock, your AR-15 can be an excellent melee weapon.
