Are you frustrated with the length of pull for your AR-15’s fixed stock? Perhaps you feel that your ideal position is situated directly between two settings on your standard carbine buffer tube. If you feel this way, this 7-position AR-15 buffer tube is for you. Since it’s designed by Strike Industries, you can rest assured that it is of the highest quality.
An AR-15 buffer tube houses the recoil spring and the buffer itself. These components work together to cycle the action of your AR. Without them, your direct impingement AR would not be a semi-automatic weapon.
This new Advanced AR-15 Receiver Extension by Strike is a 7-position buffer tube. The shortest position the buffer tube can achieve will make it as short as a collapsed M4 carbine butt stock. If you choose to use it fully extended, the tube will extend the stock to a length slightly greater than that of an M-16A2 fixed buttstock. You can now achieve the ideal length of pull for your build with this 7-position buffer tube.
If you need a high-quality buffer tube to provide a more tailored experience with your black rifle, consider this 7-position buffer tube by Strike.

It’s a Mil-Spec Buffer Tube. How Is It Advanced?
The Strike Industries 7-Position Advanced Receiver Extension isn’t just another extruded Mil-Spec AR-15 Buffer Tube. Strike’s designers took the basic buffer tube and threw it over their shoulders before creating this beauty.
They started with aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum. This higher-grade aluminum retains the lightweight characteristics of other aluminum AR-15 buffer tubes but has a lot more backbone than the 6061 you’ll see used by many other manufacturers. Finished Extensions are hard anodized. That give them a finish that resists the effects of abuse and corrosion, protecting your investment in harsh field conditions as well as from the occasional slip of a screwdriver on the bench.
The surfaces of this extension are scalloped, and while it looks awesome, it has a purpose beyond aesthetics. The scalloped surfaces reduce the friction and binding experienced when adjusting close fitting stocks and allow for weight savings while keeping the body of the tube strong. The reduced friction scalloped surfaces make it easy to move your buttstock and simple to keep track of which of the 7 positions you’re in and where you want to move to.

Perfect Red Accent; No Complaints

I put this Red 7-Position on my Springfield Saint, and it fits perfectly. There's no wiggle and is really easy to install. Fits right into my Bravo Company stock, however I may have to switch to the Strike Industries Viper Stock just to keep it matching. Can't wait until my other Red Line parts come in.
Strike industries and Wing Tactical, Enough said...

Another quality product and top notch customer support is what keeps me coming back.
Well made, quality tube

High quality buffer tube, more stock adjustment options, and I like the notch for the buffer detent pin.
Different isn't always better

The good: The FDE color is a very close match for burnt bronze and the piece is actually a little lighter than a mil-spec extension.
The bad: The cuts making it not cylindrical make all my stocks looser fits, including the Strike Industries Viper CQB. I've tried Magpul MOE and Battlelink Minimalist as well, which fits very tight on mil-spec extensions. All of them fit loosely and rattle.

Great buffer tube.

Compared tomother buffer tubes, I found this one a little tight to screw onto my Sig 516 Patrol. I noticed the threads are cut deeper yet are larger in width. This allows for a more confident fitment to the lower reciever. It also, though not mentioned, has an anti-tilt feature. A little dry moly spray internally and it is nearly silent.

Excellent buffer tube fit and finish are top notch. My stock has a nice snug fit with no wiggle room. The 7 positions is icing on the cake.
It's a buffer tube, does exactly what's expected from a buffer tube

Sturdy, solid buffer tube. If you're looking for a not-so-expensive tube, I'd say go with this one.

Like all strike gear, awesome. Look great, I have a red and black and like the 7 adjustments over six , so far all strike anodized finishes have stayed on the products.
I like it alot

Why not have a seventh position? Also well designed, and light enough
Great buffer tube

Great quality at a great price. Love the added flexibility with the 7th position. The additional flange that holds the buffer retainer pin in place is a nice touch. And the red looks great on my rifle. Would buy again.

It's a buffer tube, not much to say about other than the red looks really cool

Added this to my build without any issues. It actually has a bit of a protrusion on the front of it in order to hook over the buffer retaining pin. This helps align it perfectly and securely. Don't quote me on the terms. I am a novice AR owner and new to working on them.
Very impressive buffer tube

As all Wing Tactical products are, this buffer tube is very high quality and I can't be happier

Heard lots of mixed reviews, was skeptical when buying, but wanted that color to match my other red AR components. Finish looks as good as my Higher dollar Spikes' tube, fits inside my STR stock really nice with no play.
Have to give it a thumbs up.
Wing Tactical + Strike Parts = Amazing Service

Ordered the Mil-Spec Red Buffer tube and it shipped quickly and arrived within days. Took a minutes to replace old buffer tube and place new one in.
What the picture doesn't show is that it has a little lip for the pin holding back the buffer spring making installation so much easier.
This was my first purchase here and there will be many more to come!
Great fit! Love the additional position.

The seven position buffer is the way to go. The anodized red really makes an asthetic difference
