*The external width of some AR receivers may vary in the trigger and hammer pin area depending on the manufacturer. These pins may be shortened slightly by carefully filing material evenly from both ends. Pins that are slightly long will not affect function or performance.
*The maximum torque specification for the screws is 11 inch-pounds. Over-torquing the screws can damage the side plates.
*There is no strength difference between the Gen 2 and Gen 2 Mod 2 side plates. The only difference is their appearance.

External Retainers Keep the Pins in Place
This KNS Gen2 anti-walk pin set uses two external side plates to secure the trigger and hammer pins and prevent rotation or lateral movement. The 0.154-inch stainless steel pins undergo a hardening process designed to withstand the stresses associated with repeated semi-automatic fire and select-fire applications.
The anti-rotation design can help protect the receiver from wear caused by pins that shift during operation. It can also reduce some of the play found in certain match-grade trigger assemblies, giving builders another way to refine the fit of lower-receiver components.
No Permanent Receiver Modifications Required
Installation of the KNS Precision Gen2 .154 Non-Rotating Trigger & Hammer Pins does not require permanent modifications to the receiver. The kit includes the trigger pin, hammer pin, side plates, set screws, Torx wrenches, and installation tool needed to complete the upgrade.
Always follow the specified 11 inch-pound torque limit when tightening the side plate screws. The external dimensions of AR receivers can vary slightly, so review the compatibility notes before installation.
