I would buy them again if a need them
**The external width of some AR receivers may vary in the trigger/hammer pin area depending on the manufacturer. These pins may be shortened a small amount by carefully filing material evenly from both ends of the pins, but being too long will not affect the function or performance.
**The maximum torque Spec on the screw is 11 inch/lbs. (Over-torquing the screws can cause damageto these side plates)
**There is no strength difference between the Gen 2 and Gen 2 Mod 2 sideplates. The only difference is appearance.
It's long been standard practice to safety-wire critical connectors and fittings on aircraft. They used safety-wire to make 100 percent certain that nothing moved. Unfortunately, this process is not possible with your gun, even if it was it would be ugly. On the plus side, you get the chance to accomplish the same thing with a set of KNS anti-rotation pins.
In quick succession, trigger and hammer pins coming loose and "walking out" during rapid fire is a common problem when firing full-auto AR-15s or firing semi-autos. If you as a AR owner is experiencing this problem, you have come to right place. The KNS Precision Generation 2, Modification 2 Non-Rotating Trigger and Hammer Pins eliminate this problem by attaching the two pins to one another with a set of exterior stainless steel retainers.
Undoubtedly, when you install a set of AR-15 anti rotation pins, you have taken the single best precaution to eliminate pin rotation and walk. Something as quick and simple to install as a little KNS hammer and trigger pin just gave you one less thing to worry about. A set of KNS AR-15 non rotating pins comes to you with a valuable, conical, brass guide. The design of this guide makes installing your KNS anti-rotation pins easy because it keeps tension on the trigger group during the switch.
Is installing a set of AR-15 anti rotation pins something you really should consider? Well, that depends on several things. Quite a number of things can cause your pins to walk out on you. Automatic fire, an improperly tuned gun, excessive recoil, and some receivers have holes that are a bit out of tolerance to begin with. Ultimately, if you shoot enough the pins will move. The answer is a KNS hammer and trigger pin set, it puts a stop to all pin movement. Stop rotation, stop pin walk, stop receiver wear, install KNS AR-15 non rotating pins. This mod will not interfere with operation of your AR-15's exterior controls in any way. In fact, the installation can be performed without any permanent modifications or gunsmithing knowledge!
I would buy them again if a need them
Very stable, locks up a drop in trigger as tight as a mil spec.
I have one for each of my rifles. Too easy to install, and they just do what they’re intended to do.
Also on a side note Wing Tactical is an outstanding company. I had one of the pins on my rifle walk out. I ordered this set, selected two day shipping, emailed the guys at Wing Tactical that I needed this for a class I had to teach In a few days. The pins arrived less than 24 hours later. Excellent customer service guys, RLTW!!!!!
Excellent product quality, easily installed. Fit was perfect.
I used a set of these non-rotating pins to install a Rise RA 140 trigger assembly. The pins come with a brass guide to screw on the threaded pin to assist in installation. The included torx screws have a thread locking compound already on them, making them more reliable in the field. Just more peace of mind for your rifle set-up.
Love the gear. Love the servce of wingtactical
