With the Seekins name to back it up, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be satisfied with the Seekins ambi safety selector.
Ambidextrous or left-handed shooters may find themselves struggling with the ubiquitous right-handed rifles available on the market today. One simple way to make a right-handed AR more ambi- or southpaw-friendly is to purchase this Seekins ambi safety selector.
Even if you are right-handed, you may find yourself needing to shoot left-handed someday, especially if your strong side should become incapacitated for some reason. It’s not a bad idea to become as comfortable as possible with shooting from both your strong side and your support side. Upgrading your AR-15 with this Seekins ambidextrous safety selector is a relatively inexpensive way to ensure that you are ready for whatever life throws at you.
This Seekins Safety Selector is a drop-in replacement for the standard Mil-Spec safety selector. The installation kit comes with a standard lever and a shorter lever for a quick and simple replacement to suit shooter preference. It can be installed in two configurations - Standard 90-degree throw or Short 60-degree throw thanks to the innovative safety axis desgin.

A+, superior fit and operation
Seekins Precision is a great ambi safety Selector kit , I have them on all four of my rifle it was the best choice I made. Thank you.
Does what it says on the box. I do like the aggressive texture, maybe a bit much for me but I also don't normally go for textures. Giving 4 stars because it wishes it came with an end cap in case I ever wanted to remove one of the levers and not expose the internal surfaces.
Installed this in place of a non-ambi selector. However, the Seekins was a very tight fit, rotation was erratic. I replaced it with a Phase 5 90 degree ambi which functions perfectly. Used same detent and spring. To rule out the lower, I also tried it in a Battle Arms billet lower that was not built out yet. The problem is the part. This is not my first AR-odeo. Cannot recommend.
I just installed this on my AR-15 build works great and love the quality
Using on a 9mm AR pistol and a 9mm rifle, USPSA and Steel Challenge. Other ambi safeties have either interfered with some other action or had too sharp a texture that became quite painful by the end of a match. This one has the right tradeoffs and flexibility.
I think this is not the second time I purchased this product, It easy to install and good up-grade for my AR.
I somehow got convinced by a review I read or watched somewhere, that this safety was a color match for strike Industries red line. As it was almost 1/2 the price of the SI switch I decided to give it a shot. Wrong. The Seekins color is a deep, dull burgundy that ONLY matches SI's red in low light… from a distance. Aside from that nit-picky point, it is a bit uncomfortable to actuate. The top edge of the levers come to a point that is a little bit on the sharp side. Not enough to wound, but enough to make want to avoid frequent non-glove operation. Also, the small lever I installed on the right of the receiver (left hand actuation) is difficult / stiff to operate - and I am not a weak guy. As this is the first ambi safety I have ever used, I thought it was just the nature of the beast. That is until I purchased a v seven ambi for my other rifle. I tested it in the same receiver, with the same spring and detent – night and day (the v7 is a lot easier and forgiving to actuate - just not red). Another thing I just noticed is that there are a couple spots the color has already started to wear off, and this receiver is not even completed enough to be functional. I will very likely be replacing this safety once my build has been completed. At the very least it is a functional safety. Would not recommend or buy again.
