This is the 2nd of these I've bought 1 in black and 1 in FDE. I really like the look of them. They do provide a good place to put your trigger finger when it's not busy. Quality seems top of the line.

I would have given this a 5 star rating, but have to top it at a 3. The overall idea/design of this trigger guard is great. It does give you a fixed indexing point for your trigger finger. My problem with it is two-fold. The fit if the guard onto the AR isnt exact...them monting holes do not align exactly. This, coupled with softer metal screws, caused all three to strip either the hex slot or (on one of mine) the whole screw. It made it halfway into the ear of my lower before stripping the threads. Had the alignment been exact, I doubt the screws would have stripped the heads or the threads.

So mine is mounted with only 2 of 3 screws, but it is a tight fix - so functionally I think it'll be fine.

Lookingnat Youtube reviews, this is a known/common problem for this trigger guard. I also wrote to the company for help (replacement screw - ideas, etc... and got no response back. So no tech support from the manufacturer...

So if you want to try something different, go for it. Be aware that you may strip out the mounting screw heads/threads.
