Details:

The JP Enterprises Small Profile Compensator for 5.56 / .223 caliber rifles is a low-profile compensator machined from quality American steel. It’s capable of reducing the recoil perceived on firing by roughly 70% when compared to the same weapon fired without a muzzle device. That means it's far easier for the shooter to require the target when sending multiple rounds down range to the same target, as well as making acquisition of serial targets a smooth, quick operation.

This small profile JP compensator was designed with the guidance of professional tactical weapons instructors and professional shooters and it shows. The Small Profile Comp features the legendary performance of the Recoil Eliminator JP Compensator series in a smaller form that meets the 1-inch by 3-inch footprint restrictions imposed by SOF, WC 3-Gun, USPSA Limited, and the governing bodies of many other tactical rifle competitions.

Big flat baffle surfaces on the compensator’s interior redirect gasses, sideways and a bit forward through squared side vents. This not only mitigates pressure-born recoil but also creates a forward thrust effect that eliminates recoil force created as the bullet leaves the barrel. This counter force is directly proportional to the pressure created by firing, so high-pressure loads won’t give any more grief than a standard load. Tuned 12 o’clock ports counteract muzzle rise and a solid 6 o’clock surface keeps the dust out of your eyes. All this means you’ll stay on target and take less punishment, shot after shot when you choose a Small Profile JP Compensator to manage recoil and muzzle rise.
