Everybody knows that an AR-15 pistol or SBR needs a muzzle device to lessen the brain-busting concussion that they are known for. However, if you go with the wrong one, your range partners will not want to be around you. You have to direct as much of that shot concussion downrange as possible. The best way to make this happen is to run a Kaw Valley Precision Magnum Linear Comp on that little beast.

This Indoor Dog Will Hunt

Okay, firing at the range is one thing, but how about inside your house? An AR-15 pistol or SBR that's fun at the range easily doubles as the perfect PDW at home. The fact that a Kaw Valley Magnum Linear Comp pushes the shots concussion away from your face and ears suddenly becomes very important if you have to fire in a closed room. When the SHTF you're probably not going to have time to find earplugs. So, while not a recommended practice, using a Kaw Valley Precision Magnum Linear Comp, is much better than the alternative.

It's Hiding In Plain Sight

A big problem with most muzzle devices is that you can only tighten them down from the base of the unit. The Kaw Valley Magnum Linear Comp incorporates flats all along its body instead of flutes. Therefore, you can tuck this little beauty partially under the rail and still firmly get a wrench on it to be able to attach and detach it easily. The Kaw Valley Precision Magnum Linear Comp boasts a slim profile that fits inside almost any free-floating rail. So, you get to choose just how much of that sleek compensator to let the world see.

stellar quality linear comp. heavy and durable with easy installation. this is a good alternative to the hatebrake which is more than double the price of the magnum linear comp. highly recommended

  • Was great till it wasnt

Picked up the 3.5" last year, looked great on my pistol, felt like it balanced me out. Yesterday I was finally able to get on the range with it and it was perfect until I noticed a huge difference in sound, upon inspection I noticed the entire insides were gone, could not find them anywhere on the range. Love the idea and when it worked it was great but for it to blow out with less then 100 rounds through it I don't believe I'll be buying again.

  • well made but heavy

Based on how your barrel is threaded and how narrow your free float rail is, you may need to use a crush washer or shim to get the correct fitting. It's a very wide linear comp, heavy too, but it works.

  • KAW valley 3.25 Magnum

Went to my gun club today, first time shooting my AR -556 with this well made linear compinsator. Fired 150 rounds or so and then realized the front round piece with the 7 holes int was GONE ! We searched all over the range,we called a seize fire to locate it 10 of us all over the range, didn’t find the piece. Without it am I getting less sound sent down range?

I have two of these in the 3.25” on pistol builds. Do the job well and look good as well. Well built.

  • Great Compensator!!

I bought two of the 3.25” for my Pistol builds. Great quality and do the job. The appearance of them is great tucked inside a hand guard and barely peeking out. Will buy again for builds.

  • Great fit on my AR pistol!

This lil beast really made a difference on my AR pistol. Couldn't be happier. Its got some weight to it so it really helped with muzzle rise and projecting blast forward. Must have for a pistol and on the range.

  • Magnum comp 556

I replaced my vg6 epsilon with this comp. It does a nice job stabilizing shots and directing the blast. The downside is the massive fireball out of my 10.5" barrel but that is to be expected.

  • KVP it just works.

Need this forwarding device for my 10.5 truck gun. Everyone was out of stock except Wings Tactical. Shipping was extremely fast and the KVP was well made. At the range it works as advertised. Would highly recommend.
