If it looks like you need a replacement for the standard gas rings on your AR-15 bolt, you will find the JP Enhanced Gas Ring to be the ideal option.
Unlike the traditional three-piece gas rings, the JP Enhanced .223 gas ring is made from a one-piece design like that of the McFarland gas rings. The reason why the JP precision-ground one piece gas rings have an advantage over the McFarland rings is because the JP Enhanced Gas Rings are precisely engineered to fit small-frame carrier parts. As a result, this gas ring model is compatible with AR15-type weapons chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem/.300 BLK.
After multiple test-runs and redesigns, this specific enhanced gas ring was created. After plenty of trial and error, JP created a gas ring with a solid gas seal that produces an extremely low amount of friction between the ring and the bolt carrier. Because of this, the JP Enhanced Gas Ring helps increase the operational efficiency of the firearm. The rings edges help to keep the carrier clean during operation by scraping the carrier walls during the cycling action, thereby giving your rifle a free "cleaning".(Okay, you'll still need to clean your weapon when you've finished for the day, but there will be a reduced amount of fouling inside your carrier). If you want to go for a new and improved revision of a traditional AR 15 gas ring, order the JP Enterprises’ enhanced gas ring today!
Fast, inexpensive solution

I was having difficulty getting the bolt into battery due to very strong gas rings that required me to use the forward assist. I installed this gas ring in 30 seconds and "problem solved." Runs great! I went and bought a couple more afterwards, considering how slick they are.
VERY EASY TO INSTALL
