At first I thought I got a dud or the wrong product. But after a little research I confirmed I got the right one. Here is the deal, it has a rough texture, the "tabs" are getting slightly stuck when charging. It is not ambidextrous. I bought this to go on a complete NiB upper build on the current build in progress. I have a NiB upper, NiB BCG (complete) and a barrel with a NiB barrel extension. The 3 products just mentioned all have a slick, very lube like finish. No this charging handle. As I stated above, it has a rough gritty like texture and makes a terrible sandy, gritty like sound when charging. I will give it a try though and see if it improves over time.

  • looked good out of the package but would not fit in my receiver. Required sanding on the bumps near the bolt end.

I would have liked it to fit right out of the box. I thought about returning it but I needed it to finish my build.

Purchased it to compliment a NB M-16 Bolt CG on a 204 Ruger Build. Woks fine, only wish it had a polished finish to match the bolt. Would work a little better if is was "slick" and would make it easier to clean...... Looks nice on the rifle.
Suggest to offer the same in an AMBIDEXTROUS charging handle ....... ???
