Details:
The Armaspec 5.56 Triad Muzzle Brake with Mini-Reactor Blast Shield combines a .223/5.56 muzzle brake with a suppressor mounting interface designed around the Plan B / Rearden Atlas-style system.
The Triad Muzzle Brake uses external threads and a precision taper rather than a separate locking collar or ratcheting mechanism. It's a relatively simple arrangement, with fewer moving parts to deal with.
This version has 1/2-28 barrel threads and is intended for .22-caliber applications, including .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO.
Mini-Reactor Blast Shield Included
The included Mini-Reactor Blast Shield gives the Triad another configuration option when a suppressor isn't attached.
A muzzle brake redirects expanding gas through its ports, which can produce considerable blast to the sides. The Mini-Reactor is designed to redirect that blast forward, making the setup more comfortable for people positioned alongside the muzzle.
You can use the Triad Muzzle Brake as a standalone brake or pair it with the Mini-Reactor when forward blast direction is preferred.
Precision Taper and External Threads
The suppressor mounting interface is one of the Triad's main features. Its precision taper provides a defined seating surface, while the external threads secure a compatible mounting adapter.
There's no complicated locking mechanism built into the muzzle device.
The Triad is designed for Plan B / Atlas-style mounting systems, but that doesn't guarantee compatibility with every suppressor or adapter using those names. Confirm the exact adapter, suppressor, and internal clearance requirements before use.
Standard Crush Washer Timing
Armaspec designed the Triad to use a standard crush washer for timing, rather than requiring a proprietary mounting system.
Because suppressor alignment requirements can vary, the intended washer arrangement should also be verified with Armaspec and the suppressor manufacturer before attaching a suppressor.
