Details:

The Midwest Industries Enhanced Black Nitride AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group is designed for 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, and 300 Blackout caliber platforms. The materials, tolerances, and coatings used in the Midwest Industries BCG meet or exceed military-spec standards and will function in both semi- and full-auto firearms and is backed by Midwest Industries’ limited lifetime warranty.

Competition Grade

The Midwest Industries bolt carrier group is designed to significantly reduce both bolt-carrier tilt and friction inside the upper receiver as the bolt cycles. This helps to increase cycle speed and ammo-feed reliability and is in part accomplished by the improved gas key.

Superior Craftsmanship

The Midwest Industries BCG carrier has an M16 profile and is made from 8620 billet machined steel, the bolt from 9310 hardened steel, the gas key from 4130 steel, the extractor from E4140 steel, and the firing pin from 420SS steel. The assembly is shot-peened for added strength and given a black nitride finish for added durability. Together this all makes for a strong and reliable bolt-carrier group that will stand up to extended firing practice. The entire BCG weighs in at just over 11.5 ounces, less than many factory OEM bolt-carrier groups.

No-Hassle Installation

The Midwest Industries bolt carrier group is 100 percent made in the U.S.A. and installs easily with no special skills or tools. Note that installing the Midwest BCG on a semi-auto platform will not convert the firearm to full automatic.
