  • Good SFAR Fit

Installed this on my Ruger SFAR (16.1") Rifle. It's a bit plain in appearance, but is a good fit.

  • Does not fit M4E1 uppers

Posted by Joe Trude on 9th Mar 2023

Nice concept but this cover did not fit my Aero M4E1 upper. I could have shaved off some material to assist in opening all the way but for the price I just tossed the cover out.

  • Fit is too tight

Posted by CarlosC on 22nd Dec 2022

Installation is a breeze with the retractable pin, a nice feature and advancement over the original AR design. The only reason I give it four stars is because the fit isn't quite right; it rubs on my Aero FDE receiver and prevents it from snapping open. I put it on a spare black receiver and it does the same thing, so it's not the receiver cerakote. I removed the cover, sanded the area where it was hanging up and it is better now, but not near as smooth and snappy as a normal cover. It may get better with wear, or I'll and it some has to be 100% reliable. Always.
