The new Gen 2 model Griffin Armament AR SOB carbine suppressor optimized buffer is similar to the A2 rifle length buffer. It is designed as a replacement for the M4 carbine series buffers in suppressed 5.56mm caliber rifles. The AR suppressor buffer can also be used in 308 caliber carbines as a replacement for either the H2 or H3 buffers when used with the AR10 Mil-Spec carbine buffer tube and an AR10 carbine buffer spring.

Improved Cycle Time

The Griffin Armament buffer is engineered with a staggered-impact hybrid design that works to increase chambering reliability. The buffer more precisely controls timing while improving dwell for smoother and more reliable cycling. A telescoping buffer head and the CNC machined weights work in unison to produce a more controlled motion that results in more accurate follow-up shots.
