Strike Industries Flat Wire Spring

There are a lot of parts that can be upgraded to improve performance or that might need replacing after you’ve used a rifle for a while. You might tinker with triggers and swap out safety selectors on a fairly regular basis, but how often does your buffer spring really cross your mind? It’s time it did. Strike Industries AR-15 flat wire buffer spring is the drop-in improvement you’ve overlooked for too long.

Flat Wire Buffer Spring by Strike Industries

AR-15 buffer springs tend to be something of a weak link in the weapon system. Over time the OEM springs weaken, and can fail, bringing the service life of your rifle to an abrupt end. Strike Industries’ AR-15 flat wire buffer spring is made from 17-7 steel that has been cryo-treated to last longer and perform more reliably than its predecessors.

The space between spring arcs is larger, and will not compress with use. You’ll enjoy more consistent performance, increased bolt load and much smoother cycle than with OEM springs. The flat wire buffer spring controls harmonics and vibration allowing the shooter to get follow-up shots off more quickly. Not only is AR “bounce” virtually eliminated, but the irritating “twang” so many shooters complain of is a thing of the past when you use this AR-15 buffer spring.

Strike Industries Flat Wire Buffer Spring Offers You More

Whether you’re building a new system or just looking to replace a worn AR-15 buffer spring, the Strike Industries Flat Wire AR Carbine Buffer Spring is the only buffer spring you need to consider for your standard length AR build. Not only does it outperform OEM springs, but it does it without breaking the bank.

  • Tight Fitment

The strike flat wire spring look good right out of the package but with the spikes t2 and other milspec buffers I used the spring doesn't go over the shoulder even when I installed it in the buffer tube. Strike says it will go over the buffer shoulder after ya fire a few rounds. Other flat wire springs I used go onto the buffer normally. Just didn't seem right with the spring not completely flush so I tried neverwear springs and fitted on normal.

  • Worth every cent enhanced feeding lower recoil and last longer than the standard buffer spring

The alternative is the super 42 braided spring that is way more expensive

I got this and the milspec lower priced buffer tube and just love each item and you can't ask for anything better for the price.

This spring makes a big difference for a small cost. I bought more for each AR I own. Great Product!!

I bought this for my MK18 upper reciever in hopes to tame down the gas system on it and it worked great. I paired this with a spikes tactical T2 buffer and and it made the otherwise over gassed gun turn into a nice easy shoot. And the spring noises are completly mitigated. Good buy for a simple up grade or new build. If u have a smaller gas port system though this spring is pretty stiff so you will most likely have to experiment with buffer weight. And wing tactical shipped it fast.

  • Strike Flat Spring SI-AR-FWS-C

Liked the idea but it does not seem to seat in the Odin adjustable buffer and when checked in a Colt Carbine buffer, same result. It seems the flat spring decreases the inside diameter of the spring so it interferes with fitment. Read other reviewers who (some) also had similar issue. Maybe other brand buffers or a Strike would fit without issue.
