Details:

There are a lot of components to consider when you build a weapon system. While many are of varying importance, few are as important to the functionality of the gun as a quality barrel. There are a lot of choices on the market for those who want to build an AR-15 pistol or short barreled rifle (SBR), but if you choose a Spikes Tactical CHF barrel for your build, you’ll have a AR that you can count on for upwards of 20,000 rounds. Now that’s something worth thinking about.

Spikes Tactical CHF Barrel

Let there be no doubt in your mind, Spikes Tactical CHF Barrel is one tough customer. It’s Mil-Spec, and the set of specs it’s built on were intended for heavy use. While this barrel has been turned down to a lightweight profile, it’s no pushover. This barrel is Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) and High Pressure Tested (HPT) to ensure its durbility. Each of these barrels begins its life by going through cold hammer forging, a work process that hardens the barrel while the mandrel it’s mounted on leaves behind the 1/7 twist rifling. That process along with the Black Nitride coating inside and out promises you that you won’t soon shoot out this barrel.

Spikes Tactical 8.1" Barrel

This Spikes Tactical CHF barrel features an M4 Mil-Spec barrel extension and comes threaded at ½ x 28 TPI. These 8.1-inch barrels are build-ready, with a .750 inch gas block seat that’s already tapped with a functional gas port. This barrel is finished in Mil-Spec Phosphate and has no front sight base to mar its profile. It looks good, it will outlast all of the inferior barrels on the market and it’s yours for the asking.
