What is ATLAS?

ATLAS is the proprietary mounting system used on the latest generation of Aero Handguards. The Aero Taper Lock Attachment System is a breath of fresh air in the attachment of free floated handguards. While other attachment methods can torque a handguard out of shape, the new Aero Handguard ATLAS system uses a turnbuckle screw to create an even distribution of pressure across a specialized barrel nut. That special nut and screw setup teams up with a ratcheting detent that gives your handguard added security. That solid mount with equalized pressure gives you a secure handguard that remains true, with no distortion, after installation.
