If you’re outfitting a pistol for competition use, it will be hard to find better internal upgrades on the market than those made by Apex Tactical Specialties. When you need to lighten the trigger pull on your Smith & Wesson M&P, Apex offers the parts you need to make an effective M&P trigger upgrade. The Apex M&P Competition Spring Kit is a quality drop-in replacement spring kit that can be used in conjunction with Apex’s Fully Machined Sear and Ultimate Striker Block to take 2 pounds off of your trigger pull weight. That’s the M&P Trigger Upgrade that will give you the edge you need.
Lighter Doesn’t Mean Weak
Apex Tactical Specialties brings pistol shooters some of the best upgrades on the market and the Apex Competition Spring Kit for M&P is no exception. While these springs used in conjunction with Apex Ultimate Striker Block will significantly lower the pull weight of your competition pistol trigger, they’re not weak. Apex’s competition striker spring and trigger return springs are shot peened to improve their functional service life. Apex springs are stronger than untreated springs without becoming brittle and compromising reliability or ending up too heavy to be a functional competition trigger upgrade.
The Apex M&P Competition Spring Kit works with the current generation of 9mm, .357SIG and .40S&W semi-automatic Smith and Wesson pistols. This spring kit is not compatible with M&P 45 models or the M&P Shield. Please remember that lightened pull trigger upgrades are recommended for competition pistols only. Daily carry, duty pistols, and self-defense weapons should maintain a heavier trigger pull for safety in high-stress situations. Choose the right Apex springs for your application and enjoy an edge you can count on.
