Great add to a stock trigger.
If you're looking for a high-quality trigger spring kit, the JP Enterprises AR-15 trigger spring kit is the perfect purchase. This kit will give a standard AR-15 a 4- to 4.5-pound trigger pull. If you are using JP Enterprises parts, these springs will give you a 3- to 3.5-pound trigger pull. If you want to improve the quality of your trigger function but don’t have the resources to replace the entire fire control group, this trigger spring kit is an ideal option.
The JP Reduced Power Spring Kit includes instructions for easy installation. The instructions also contain information on engagement surface polishing, a procedure that will give your trigger a smoother, more even pull. The JP Enterprises Reduced Power Spring Kit are compatible with standard lower receiver assemblies and aftermarket triggers designed for the AR-15 platform.
To achieve the best results with the JP Enterprises AR-15 Trigger Spring Kit, be sure to use USA-manufactured ammunition. Ammo made in another country may contain harder primers, leading to poor ignition with this particular product. These springs are designed for recreational firearms only and should not be installed in a duty weapon or a home defense firearm.
JP Enterprises is proud to provide customers with products that can effectively meet their needs while out in the field. Great add to a stock trigger.
Was too lite and would not even discharge a single round. The rounds would be dimpled, but we’re not struck hard enough to fire
I use these springs in ll my AR's. I can buy a complete lower, stick these springs in and have a VERY nice trigger. Why pay 100's of dollars for the same feel.
This spring kit combined with an ALG ACT will give you consistent 3.5lb pulls. I have only shot 270 rounds with this combination, but have had only one failure using PMC brass. From the appearance of the round it looked more like a bad primer than a light strike.
Tired of that sucky mil spec trigger? Get the JP Spring kit and improve your shooting! One of the first and best upgrades to your weapon is a trigger job. This drop in kit will bring a vast improvement to your stock setup. It even has polishing instructions to take that gritty feeling out! Before you sink a couple hundred dollars into an aftermarket trigger, try this and use the money you saved for ammo and more range time!
I have used these springs on a few builds; MILSPEC, polished and nickel plated. Each install yielded a lighter, smoother pull. It'll take a 6.5 lb MILSPEC trigger down to about 4.5 lb. Start with the nickel plate, polished trigger, you'd think you spent a fortune.
Words of warning, should not be used for real defense or duty rifles-- you may experience light strikes and failures to fire on harder primer ammo. Also on rimfire rifles this is not the best set up, you should opt for the enhanced reliability springs, or keep the MILSPEC hammer spring.
I put this reduced spring in my Sig M400, as the stock trigger spring seemed a little stiff. The JP Enterprises Reduced Power Spring set really reduced the trigger pull and makes it easier to stay on target.
I installed these springs, polished the trigger, and sear surfaces very carefully with jeweler's rouge on a dremel. These surfaces were extremely shiny after just a minute of polishing. Upon installation, I coated the surfaces with the Rydol grease mentioned in the instructions. The trigger pull was greatly reduced and the DPMS Oracle still functions as before. Very satisfied with this product. Wing Tactical was great with shipping costs and delivery.
Ordered the reduced trigger springs here based on the recommendation of a friend over using Brownells where I had been ordering these. My gripe with Brownells is they had been killing me with their exorbitant shipping cost and 2-3 week turn times. Glad I found Wing Tactical. They got it to me in a couple days and the shipping price was extremely minimal (as it should be for something that literally weighs the amount of a couple paper clips). I will definitely be using these guys again as well as recommending them to others.
