Details:

Though the magazine catch on an AR-15 is a very small part of the receiver, it is quite important and serves the essential purpose of keeping the magazine in the receiver and releasing it when you press the magazine release.

If you are completing an AR-15 build, or want to upgrade your magazine catch to complement solid face magazine release buttons, the Battle Arms Development AR-15 Cast Enhanced Magazine Catch is an excellent option.

Mil-Spec Construction

The Battle Arms Cast Enhanced Magazine Catch is engineered in a one-piece design to add durability and longevity. Moreover, it is made from 8620 Heat Treated Steel using an investment cast process, which is the same as a Mil-Spec Magazine catch.

The steel AR-15 magazine catch has a black phosphate finish to improve corrosion resistance, and it is also fluted to shave off some weight. Overall, the Battle Arms Cast Enhanced Magazine Catch is super durable, and you can expect it to work reliably even under rugged use.

Compatible With Most AR-15 Receivers

The Battle Arms Cast Enhanced Magazine Catch is compatible with all Mil-Spec magazine release buttons and is very easy to install. It works with both the Battlearms Enhanced Magazine Release and Enhanced Modular Magazine Release.

Reduced Magazine Release Profile

One of the unique features of the Battle Arms Cast Enhanced Magazine Catch is that it features a shorter threaded pin to reduce the installed magazine button profile of solid face magazine release buttons. This ensures that the magazine release button doesn't stick out, and potentially get caught on your gear, or perhaps accidentally bumped when you are shooting. Still, it keeps the button in a position where you can easily hit it when you deliberately want to.
