Apex is Much More Than Adequate
Apex Tactical Specialties exists to provide Law Enforcement personnel, tactical operators, competitions shooters and others who expect their firearms to be more than “adequate” with the components and tools they need to reach for more. Apex Tactical’s mission is to provide “superior parts, exceptional performance and craftsmanship, and above all, unparalleled customer service” to their customers.
The Best Upgrades
If you’re looking to upgrade a Glock, Smith and Wesson M&P or Shield, Apex Tactical designs and manufactures some of the best upgrade parts available. Apex offers a version of the Apex trigger designed to replace the less than stellar factory hinged triggers these pistols were marketed with. Choose a duty type trigger, or lighten the pull for competition. Either way, Apex has the parts to upgrade your weapon properly, improve performance, and maintain the safety parameters smart shooters know they can’t sacrifice.
The Tools You Need
Apex Tactical Specialties identified the need for tools to make the armorer’s job easier. They took that need to the design board and came up with some of the most innovative and effective tools on the market for the service of polymer body pistols. Apex’s Armorer’s Tray and Block keep everything in place while you work. With the added stability and convenience provided by Apex’s tools, you’ll be a more confident and efficient armorer.
Experience You Can Count On
Apex’s President, Randy Lee, has 25 years of experience in the firearms industry. He sets the benchmark for competition revolver action work, as well as the design of Apex’s performance parts for Smith and Wesson’s M&P line. If that’s not enough to endear you to Randy, keep in mind that he spent part of his career as a senior instructor working with officers learning safety and tactical operations with both shotguns and handguns. As a competition shooter, Mr. Lee has remained in the top 20 of the International Revolver Championships for six years running while competing in Steel Challenge, USPSA, and IDPA events too.
Scott Folk, Vice President of Apex Tactical Specialties, is an accomplished USPSA, IDPA, Steel Challenge and ICORE shooter as well as an instructor in his own right. He brings special expertise to the table from a decade in some of the largest machining facilities in the country. He apprenticed under Master Gunsmith Bruce Gray, learning every aspect of the business as he worked his way up to gunsmith and shop foreman in the Grayguns operation which made its name working on H&K and Sig Sauer pistols. Scott spends a lot of time working on new product development. His mark is prominent on many of Apex’s offerings from the Apex Armorer’s Try and Block to the J-Frame Duty Kit and the solid body Aluminum Shield Apex Trigger.
A Perfect Fit with Wing Tactical
Apex Tactical Specialties is committed to not only the design and production of their parts and tools but they also extensively test their own products. They need to know why something works, and if it doesn’t they want to know why so they can apply that knowledge to improve their products. You won’t find the Apex name on anything they haven’t tested themselves. When Apex tests, they don’t just make sure it works, they push their components to their operational limits and beyond so that they can offer their customers the quality and value they deserve. This makes them a natural fit in the Wing Tactical Family. We’re proud to distribute Apex Tactical Specialties components and tools. We believe that offering Apex’s products to you is another way we can help you give yourself an edge.
